The cyclist’s guide to Inholm, Northstowe

14 June 2021

Here are five reasons why cyclists would love our bike-friendly, Cambridgeshire neighbourhood

Inholm is our brand-new, architect-designed neighbourhood in Northstowe, Cambridge.

It’s well-connected to Cambridge city centre and nearby towns – and it’s a dream spot for cyclists.

Here are five reasons why you should consider moving to Inholm, if you love to cycle.

All homes at Inholm come with space nearby to store your bike

01 — Every home has a bike shed in their garden or nearby

All homes at Inholm are designed with multi-purpose sheds in the garden or close by. So, you’ll always have extra sheltered space to safely store your bike.

Cambridge has a range of local bike shops for all your cycling needs

02 — Your local bike shop is just around the corner

Your local bike shop, Cyclecentric Ltd, is a short 10-minute cycle away (or a six-minute drive in the car). Here, you can hire or buy new bikes, pick up cycling accessories, or get your current bike repaired by the shop’s knowledgeable team.

Commuting to Cambridge centre from Inholm is easy

03 — Commuting by bike is easy

Work in Cambridge centre? It’s a pleasant 37-minute cycle away. Cambridge Science Park is 32 minutes away. And if you need to catch a bus too, Longstanton Park and Ride is only a six-minute cycle from your new home.

Cambridge Botanic Gardens

04 — Scenic spots are less than hour away

When the weekend arrives, you have plenty of beautiful places to cycle to located less than an hour away from your doorstep. You can get to wildlife-filled Fen Drayton Lakes in 25 minutes, King’s College, Cambridge, in 36 minutes, and Cambridge Botanic Gardens in 40 minutes.

Cambridge is home to a number of local cycling groups

05 — You can join a local cycling club

You can meet new, like-minded friends by joining a local cycling group like Cambridge Cycling Club. The members-only club will allocate you to an appropriate group with a maximum of 12 riders. The club hosts a number of events suitable for recreational riders or serious racers.

Two big, beautiful Town House show homes open at Inholm on Saturday 26 June. Call Brandon on 01223 867000 or email inholm@housebyurbansplash.co.uk to book your viewing.
