Welcoming our first Houses to Port Loop
As the sun shone in Birmingham today, we gathered round to watch the first modular homes arrive on site at Port Loop. We’re regenerating this Brownfield land in the city centre, turning into a brand new neighbourhood filled with homes, workspaces, green spaces and public areas.
The first five modular Town Houses have now been craned into position ahead of the first customers moving into the scheme. Myself and colleagues from our partner organisations - Places for People, Canal and Rivers Trust, Birmingham City Council and Homes England - were all on hand to watch as they became a reality.
